Where
The South Downs School of Homoeopathy is a well established college, with students from all over Southern and South-East England and is based in central Chichester, West Sussex. It was founded in 1997, and is now one of the leading homeopathy training colleges in the UK. Our building is situated in beautiful grounds, and the new classrooms are bright and comfortable and have disabled access. There is plenty of on-site parking.
Chichester is approximately 1hr 35mins from London Victoria (direct route). Chichester train station is a 20 minute walk from the Chichester campus.

"Both of us are passionately committed to producing confident and capable working homeopaths. We believe that a good, solid understanding of the principles and mechanics of homeopathy will support a homeopath's working life and development. We feel that everyone should gain the maximum enjoyment possible, in an informal atmosphere of warmth and friendship. And, in the same way that each homeopathic prescription is patient-centred, we pride ourselves on a training that is person-centred, with every student encouraged to find their own way of studying and gaining practical skills".
"Really enjoyed my time studying at South Downs. I was at a particularly low ebb as our business had just crashed and overnight I decided to be very selfish and study homeopathy as it had made such a radical difference to my health several years earlier. I had received a prospectus from the main Society of Homeopathy and was just working out how I could possibly regularly commute to London when an “addendum” slip of paper fell out of the folder showing that a college was just starting in Chichester where I lived. That was it!

I thought I would not get accepted because of my age but once I started I realised there was quite a wide spectrum of ages and also backgrounds so I need not have worried.
I was eager to expand the awareness of homeopathy and started a bookshop at the college and set up a clinic in Chichester even before I graduated. It was very humbling to see patients and help them with their health problems - it was an eye opener to how much people suffered before seeking help".
"I want to be a homeopath and I am already planning for that day with buying stock remedies, clinic furniture etc, therefore I am willing to put a lot of effort into the course. To be honest, it is easy to do so. I am with a particularly nice bunch of people in my year 2 group and I always look forward to the weekends we share together. Whatever has happened in the month leading up to the College weekends, I am always energised by it. I am absolutely knackered by Sunday night but without exception every weekend has been a pleasure!"
