SATURDAY 6 OCTOBER 9.30-5pm
An Introduction to the key concepts of Sensation/Mapping Approaches

A rich, interactive day to enhance your understanding of the concepts which are at the basis of Mapping, as developed by the Joshis, and your confidence in applying them.

If you are new to Sensation and/or Mapping, this day will be a good introduction to all the main ideas you need to be familiar with.

If you have already encountered this approach in lectures, webinars and books, but you would like to explore more practically how to apply it in your work with clients, this day will offer you an opportunity to begin to recognise how these concepts might express in patients’ language.

You will discover how you can learn to analyse a case systematically and prescribe with precision, by applying concepts including:

• kingdoms: Mineral (Periodic Table), Animal and Plant

• the Levels of Human Development

• the Levels of Experience

• the "new" miasms

Taught by Helen Dalton and Grazia Gatti - who also run the Evolving Sensation: Bridging the Map and the Patient courses with Ilana Dannheisser - the day includes a variety of activities and exercises to bring the material to life and facilitate active learning.
